PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE – FY 2027 TOWN BUDGET

The Mayor and Council of the Town of Greensboro will hold a Public Hearing on the proposed Fiscal Year 2027 General and Enterprise Budgets.

The proposed budget includes funding for Town operations, public safety, public works, water and sewer services, and capital improvements for the fiscal year beginning July 1, 2026, and ending June 30, 2027.

Proposed FY 2027 Budget Summary:

  • General Fund Revenues & Expenditures: $1,840,719
  • Enterprise Fund Revenues & Expenditures: $1,551,307

Proposed Property Tax Rates:

  • Real Property: $0.68 per $100 of assessed value
  • Commercial/Business Personal Property: $1.513 per $100
  • Public Utilities: $1.40 per $100

This hearing will be conducted as part of Ordinance 2026-O-8, which adopts the Town’s annual budget and establishes the tax rates for FY 2027.

Residents are encouraged to attend and share their comments prior to final adoption of the budget.
