NOTICE OF SPECIAL MEETING AND AGENDA GREENSBORO MAYOR AND COUNCIL November 15, 2018 The Greensboro Mayor and Council will hold a special meeting on Thursday, November 15, 2018 at 5:30 p.m. at the Greensboro Town Office. The purpose of the special meeting is to meet with the representatives of Cherrywood Solar I, LLC to discuss the proposed solar project and potential annexation. The Agenda is as follows: 5:30 p.m. - SPECIAL MEETING CALLED TO ORDER Discussion of solar project and potential annexation between Mayor and Council and representatives of Cherrywood Solar I, LLC. ADJOURNMENT The regular Town Council Meeting which would normally convene on November 15, 2018 at 7:00 p.m. is cancelled so that the Mayor and Council can attend the Public Service Commission of Maryland Public Comment Hearing which will be held on Thursday, November 15, 2018 at the Greensboro Fire Hall, 13781 Greensboro Road, Greensboro, Maryland 21639.

Cherrywood Solar and Maryland Public Service Commission will be holding a Public hearing to take public comment on the proposed solar project to be installed North of Greensboro. 414acres of this project will directly abut the boundaries of the Town of Greensboro within the Town’s growth area on the Schiff Farm property. The public hearing will be held on Nov 15, 2018 at 7pm at the Greensboro Fire Company Community Hall. This project impacts the future of the Town of Greensboro. The Town Council Workshop scheduled for Nov 15th, 2018 has been cancelled to allow our Commissioners to attend the Cherrywood Solar Public Hearing to be held at Greensboro Fire Company Community Hall that evening at 7pm. Our next meeting will be held on Dec. 6th at 7pm at Town Hall.

Help Wanted: Town of Greensboro PZ Commissioner

The Town of Greensboro Planning and Zoning Commission is currently accepting applications. Applicants must be either a town resident or own a business in the town limits. Some knowledge of zoning laws and regulations is preferred but not required. This is a volunteer position. Meetings are held the 3rd Tuesday of each month. Applications can be obtained through the Town Office or by contacting Town Hall at 410-482-6222. Applications will be accepted until the position is filled.
